Night of 100 Elvises is something we look forward to every year. I moved to the US in 2001 and went along with Scott and Nancy while up visiting Sinead. I have missed one or two since but it continues to be a highlight of the year.
I drew these in OpenSCAD and after some work I found the best approach was to make a trench in the back and print with translucent filament, then I could stick in LEDs and watch batteries and get a nice glow effect. During the day it looked OK but at night it looked fantastic.
You can see looking at the pictures that some of these are really rough, if I do it again I will print them with the dark side down, that way any rough threads will be harder to see, and also they will not be on the presentation side.
